2019 Mackbook Pro - Dual Monitors showing the same display

I have a 2019 mackbook pro with two external monitors via hdmi with a novoo port adapter connected via usbc. Both Monitors are displaying the same screen. I do not have an option to mirror or extend displays in the system settings display. I am running Sequoia 15.3.2

Issue using two external displays with MacBook Pro M3 I have a MacBook Pro M3 and always used with only one external monitor. Now I tried to use with two using a caldigit adapter (fire bolt 3) for two monitors, but only one can be displayed at a time: if I remove the hdmi cable from monitor A, then monitor b is displayed in settings and vice-versa. i have also tried to use one monitor in the adapter and the other directly in the hdmi port, with the same result. I have checked for software updates and ot is already in Sonoma 14.4…. So, nothing to update anymore. any ideas of what I could do? Am I missing something?

Mac mirroring display on two external DisplayLink monitors I have a MacBook Pro 16", Apple M1 Max CPU, 32 GB RAM, running macOS Sequoia 15.5. I'm connecting to a Dell WD19TBS docking station via USB C. The docking station has two Phillips 276E8V 27" 4K UHD monitors attached via DisplayPort cables. However, no matter what I do, the Mac only sees a single external monitor, yet displays the exact same information on both, including the mouse pointer. I've use the docking station and monitors with Windows PCs without issues, so I can rule out the docking station, cabling, and monitors as the source of the issue. I've tried installing and uninstalling the latest DisplayLink Manager app (v1.12.4), cleaning the system, unplugging and replugging the monitors, etc. and nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

that is an artifact of an inadequate Docking Station for this use on a Mac..

To support two displays on one cable on a Mac, the Port, the cable, and the first device (Dock or Display) must all be genuine ThunderBolt.

USB-C has only half the bandwidth of Thunderbolt -3 or 4, and Apple has decided NOT to support USB-C Docks for multiple displays.
