Non-standard power supply disabling Touch ID in Sequoia

Bizarre - Had an ongoing issue with Sequoia where Touch ID was enabled but non-functional. After trying all the delete plist and bluetooth keyboards suggestions it came down to one simple but bizarre thing - Unplug the MacBook from any non-standard Apple power cable/plug and it works! I have tested this multiple times now with complete reinstalls and replicated the issue several times...
