Sand in OtterBox case causing iPhone 15 Pro Max back glass break within 3 months

I believe sand in the case actually caused it to break.

Sorry, but your claim of a manufacturing defect is not going to get you anywhere. It doesn't matter from what height you drop a phone in a case or if you believe sand was inside the case. If it fell at the right angle, the glass can shatter. You will have to pay to have the back glass replaced. If you wisely paid for an AppleCare+ Plan, the cost will be a minimal $29. If you didn't, the cost to replace the back glass will be $199. OtterBox does not guarantee an iPhone can't break in one of their cases, so you won't have a valid claim with them either.
