How can I remove auto-downloaded Starlink content from iPhone?

Wow! Not sure what Social Media site you have been reading.

• Samsung had the service available from TMobile even before the iPhone, so that is a ridiculous statement.
• T-Mobile customers have to sign up for the service. Is that something you did?
• After the beta period is over, T-Mobile will charge customers extra for those that want the service. Why would you pay extra for a service you do not want?
• Apple partners with GlobalStar for their SOS service, not Starlink. That is a carrier choice only.

Feel free to ask questions for something you do not understand. It would have saved you a lot of anxiety and the cost of a new phone that would have made no difference, if you got the correct information in time.

FYI: Samsung already has it. In fact, they had it before Apple...

If you had bothered to read up on this you would know that it is only available to T-Mobile customers and it isn't downloaded automatically, you need to sign up for it through T-Mobile.

By all means go get a Samsung. Oh by the way, Samsung phones have had this available for quite some time now, enjoy your new Samsung.

Your so-called news broke weeks ago! Now you’re upset that you got false or misleading information and you assumed it as fact. Have I got it about right?

Starlink has an exclusive US partnership with T-Mobile. Are you a T-Mobile subscriber? If you’re not, end of story. You have nothing to worry about in unless you change your subscription to T-Mobile.

If you are a T-Mobile subscriber, consider switching to another subscriber. When you’re shopping other subscribers, do your due diligence and make sure you are not subscribing to a T-Mobile subsidiary and you’ll be just fine.
