advice for buying refurbished iphone

I've never owned an iphone before and I'm considering purchasing one refurbished by Apple. Any advise or suggestions to a newbie? I see currently there are a number of options for 13 and 14 models, but I've got nothing to compare to, and not sure which would give the biggest bang for the buck etc.. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience buying refurbished, good or bad. Or even if you simply have general knowledge to impart on the current models available, it is welcome. Thx!

Buying a refurbished iPhone from Apple can be a smart choice, especially for first-time buyers. Here are some key points to consider:

1. Certified Refurbished Quality

- Apple ensures that refurbished iPhones meet the same standards as new ones. They replace worn-out parts, install a new battery, and thoroughly clean the device

2. Warranty and Support

- Refurbished iPhones come with a one-year warranty and 90 days of free phone support, just like new devices. You can also purchase AppleCare for extended coverage.

3. Savings

- Refurbished models are often 15% cheaper than new ones, making them a cost-effective option.

4. Environmentally Friendly

- Buying refurbished reduces electronic waste and supports sustainability.

5. Packaging

- Refurbished iPhones come in plain white boxes, but they include all necessary accessories.

Where to get a Refurbished iPhone:

Contact Apple, and setup a Genius Bar Appointment or see an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) in your local area. Be wary as to where you get this item, *** you may get an error of an ungenuine iPhone. So, to avoid a continual message, it is best to have an Apple or an AASP replace the battery.

So, where to get a new iPhone:

A. Apple Contact Info:

B. Contact an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to replace the screen
