iPhone 15 pro max control center screen flickering

Bought my iphone 15pro max on December 2024 (3 months ago). Since January I’ve notice that, most of the time, the screen flickers, when I enter the control center screen. I’ve tried restart and iOS update to the latest. I have even visited an authorised iStorm store in Athens. They ran the Apple tests and said that the device has no problem at all. Still the problem remains. What’s happening?

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue, especially since the iStorm store confirmed no hardware problems. Here are some steps you can try to address the flickering:

1. Disable True Tone and Auto-Brightness:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ Display & Brightness.
  • Set True Tone and Auto-Brightness to OFF and see if that reduces the flickering.

2. Reset All Settings:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset All Settings.
  • This won't delete your data but will reset system settings, which might resolve the issue.

3. Restore Your iPhone:

  • Back up your data via iCloud or iTunes.
  • Perform a factory reset and set up your iPhone as new (without restoring from backup initially) to see if the issue persists.

You are welcome. It is almost impossible to determine whether it is a hardware or a software issue without physically examining the iPhone and generating a diagnostics report. You will be best served if you contacted 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
