Why is an app missing on iPhone after updating on iPad?

Hi everyone for some reason one of my apps I use daily works and updated on my iPad but my iPhone says the app isn’t there anymore not even in the App Store, but I just used it on my iPad that has the same updates as I just set my phone up via my iPad x.
