Have had my iPhone 16 pro max since December 2024 and the touch screen is horrible! Then yesterday was the final straw when I could not even answer a call! I was swiping right with no effect. Not good :(

If you are experiencing touchscreen issues, then I suggest that you make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have the device examined by Apple. They will explain your options. This is especially true given the length of time you describe it has experienced issues, especially that they have been since you owned it according to your description.
