How do I enable game audio during phone calls on iPhone 13 Pro Max?

No game audio while on a phone call.

someone posted this in 24 but it had no reply and about 10 or so others with the same issue.

I currently have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the solution I found was changing the sound setting “change with buttons” option to on. This gave me control over the game audio and I was able to turn it up enough to hear it. Hopefully this helps some down the road.

p.s. if it isn’t already obvious, I haven’t the slightest clue about the etiquette or SOP of this community yet. I just wanted to quickly get an answer out to this person and I question. Wish I could have replied to OP but it was too old.
