iOS 15.1 has already stopped being signed on the iPhone 6s, so you can only update to the latest iOS 15.8.3.

Go to Settings > General > Software Update to do so.

To install iOS 15.1 on your iPhone 6s, follow these steps after ensuring that you have at least 15GB of free available space on your iPhone.

1. Back Up Your iPhone:

  • Before updating, ensure your data is safe by backing up your iPhone to iCloud or your computer using iTunes or Finder.

2. Connect to Wi-Fi and Power:

  • Make sure your iPhone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and plugged into a power source.

3. Check for Updates:

  • Go to Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update.
  • If iOS 15.1 is available, you'll see the option to download and install it.

4. Download and Install:

  • Tap Download and Install. You may need to enter your passcode.
  • Agree to the terms and conditions, and the update will begin downloading.

5. Wait for Installation:

  • Once the download is complete, your iPhone will restart and install the update. This process may take some time.

6. Verify the Update:

  • After the installation, go to **Settings > General > About** to confirm that your iPhone is running iOS 15.1.
