Paypal emails going directly to TRASH since most recent OS update.
This is incredibly frustrating and it doesn't matter if I'm on my laptop, desktop, iPhone or iPad. I make a purchase using PayPal and the receipt goes directly to the TRASH folder. Sometimes I notice that the contact is BLOCKED. I unblock it and a few weeks later I'll see that the sender is BLOCKED again, even though I have added the sender to my contacts. This is happening on my .mac and .me email addresses so it isn't something happening because of settings from other mail servers. This is truly strange behavior.
I noticed that this started with the same update that gave me a bunch of pretty useless icons in my iOS email devices. I managed to learn how to shut that off, but the trashing of my PayPal receipts continues.
Can anyone please help me get this behavior to stop??
NOTE FOR THE MANAGEMENT: This was roughly the same time that Apple's AI got into the picture publicly--with that update. This may be a coincidence... more likely not. I do not want to have any AI making decisions for me. Period. Certainly not when it comes to my email. Please let me make the rules for myself. And I say this as someone who was part of Digital's AI Technology Center... and as a Usability Engineer: This last update has not improved my user experience.
