When I record a video, it changes shape and why?

When I record a video or make a call somewhere, the side is reversed, and why?

Go to Settings > Camera > Mirror Front Photos, and toggle the switch. That would explain the difference you see in a photo compared to the video.

I think you are going to find you cannot do what you want. To help explain why, you may want to hold up a sign while you take a picture and video. The preview you see is like a mirror and the letters on the sign will be backwards. This is not what would be expect in a picture or video, but the preview shows it this way to make framing your shot more natural, otherwise you would have to move the camera to the right to have the image move to the left on the screen. Very awkward.

The mirror setting will only affect the photo and when turned on, a mirrored photo will have the letters on a sign reversed. That is not the way the camera took the picture, but the photo can be flipped to appear that way before it is saved. For a video, that would require every single frame of the video to be flipped while it is being recorded and not as easy as flipping a single photo or even the few shots that would make up a Live Photo.
