Apple Shortcut App: Airplane mode not reflected on watch

Hello SebastoAround,

On an iPhone iOS 18.3.2 and Apple Watch watchOS 11.3.1, I'm observing the same unexpected behavior: the shortcut doesn't turn on Airplane mode on the Apple Watch.

I'm suspecting this is an oversight in the Shortcuts application. Please let Apple know: Product Feedback - Apple.

I'm only a contributor (private person) on this forum. No link to Apple whatsoever.

Please do report this issue to Apple. Based on your comments about iOS 16 and iOS 17, this has been an ongoing issue that they need to be made aware of.

This behavior happened also on iOS 17 and iOS 16 when I was owning an iPhone X SE. Now I have an iPhone 15 pro and the same problem occurs. So I have my doubts if this is specific for iOS 18 only.

Are you a private person or a moderator?

I mean: is this recommendation your personal opinion or as an Apple representative?

I sent them a professional bug report. Let's see if this helps.

However, I found many people writing about the same issue at different places on the internet.

I fear, they know it but don't have a priority for this since they are fully occupied with more severe issues and new developments.
