Kindle books not appearing library on ipad

I’ve been using my old iPad as a Kindle as it stop upgrading at IOS 9. I’ve successfully downloading books until last week when it suddenly stopped. They download onto my newer iPad OK but it’s been useful to keep everything on the old one. I’ve tried syncing but it says Sync failed.

The problem is that your old IPad mini is no longer capable of updating to the iPad OS required by Kindle. According to the info in the App Store, it now requires iPad OS 16 or greater. You could try contacting Kindle Support to see if they have any suggestions.

Thanks for this. I’m not sure what iPad 4.2 browser is but I do seem to be able to read books that are already on my old iPad so I guess I do have the right browser. The problem was that books I bought were downloading to my newer iPad but suddenly stopped going to the old one. I have just found a work around where I go to my Amazon account and use the device management option to forward the book to my old iPad. Messy but at least I can still use it!
