I lost my phone and want to add my phone number to my apple ID rather than just as a trusted number to see messages on my mac, but it needs a verification code. Is there anyway to get the code sent elsewhere?

You may be able to get a verification code from your Mac if it is "trusted" by being listed in your Apple account:
