I am assuming that what you meant in your post is that you initiated a transfer of data to another iPhone. After initiating the process, you changed your mind and are wondering what would happen if you stopped the process.
——
Don't worry—you can stop the transfer process, and nothing will be deleted.
1. Check the Transfer Process:
- Open Settings and look for any visible notification or banner about Ready to Transfer.
- If there’s an option to cancel, tap on it to stop the process.
2. Restart Your iPhone:
- Sometimes, simply restarting the device will dismiss the Ready to Transfer status and reset it.
3. Delete any Preparation Files:
- If your phone has created temporary files for the transfer (e.g., Quick Start preparation), these won’t affect your data. They'll either expire automatically or you can clear them by restarting.
Nothing will be deleted from your phone without your explicit consent. You can continue to use your iPhone as usual without any risk of losing data.
