back up with BackBlaze
I have a 2017 iMac that I am trading in for a MacBook Air. I use BackBlaze for the iMac. Will Apple transfer the data using BackBlaze to the MacBook Air for me at the store?
Nope will not restore from Backblaze.
I STRONGLY recommend that you backup the computer using Time Machine which requires an external HD. My understanding of Backblaze is it does NOT backup your photos so you need to use Time Machine to do that. Also, once you have a Time Machine backup when you get the new Mac setting it up is dead simple. Please read Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant. This is something you can easily do yourself, however if you don't want to simply bring the Time Machine External Hard Disk with you when you buy your new Mac and the Apple Store staff will help you migrate from the Time Machine External Hard Disk.
