Apple Music syncs wrong song version to iPhone.
I have annoying problem.
I have meticulously ripped and cataloged my entire music collection. I have used iTunes to organize it, and sync my library. I also have and Apple Music subscription.
When I play songs from my computer, the Apple Music app successfully streams the version from my hard drive without issue as it should.
But when I try to download my Library on the Apple Music app on my iPhone, the Apple Music app sometimes downloads an alternate version of the song.
For example:
The culprit right now is the album "Snakes & Arrows Live" by the artist "Rush". (On Apple Music the album is titled "Snakes & Arrows: Live".)
The challenge is, the online Apple Music version of Track 1, "Limelight", has a fade on the end of it. Its the first track of a live concert, and it should just blend seamlessly into the second track (right?).
My version of the song on my computer is fine, and it does not have a fade at the end. But when I listen to the album while on a bike ride, or in the car, it is such an upleasant experience because the song fades, and the next track cuts to the crowd sounds and is really irritating.
I have tried deleting the files, re-adding them. Turning sync on and off. No matter what, my iPhone continues to download the wrong version of the song.
I know I can just turn off Apple Music on my phone, but there are many songs I like to listen to I don't have CDs for. So I'm not sure why I can't enjoy the best of both worlds?
