How do I cancel a full payment and make a partial payment on Apple Account?

I accidentally paid the whole bill instead of making a partial payment. How to cancel? I don't have enough to cover the balance. I sent in a note but all I received was that I didn't have enough in my account and might be charged for a bounced amount (check, debit).

I wish there was an easier way to pay what I wanted to pay instead of one button to pay it all. I thought the button was to give the payee a choice to pay a certain amount and that is where I made my mistake.

I am not using my cell phone but I am using the desktop computer.
