This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple Account

i receive frequently this message ‘This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple Account’

pressed both ‘cancel’ and ‘transfer’ but nothing happens.

how to fix it?


ps: i do have one and only Apple ID since decades

iPhone 14, iOS 18

I think this is the right answer. The phone truly wasn't properly prepared for a new user. Apple won't likely touch it and it should be returned.
