apple password ok on iPhone and iPad. But user password will not open Mac

? not sure what you are calling an "apple password"...



admin/user password to log into your user account on Mac is not the same as AppleID/Account password(?) if you are comparig iPHone and iPad otherwise I do not see how they are related there.
