How to resolve Godaddy email issues and switch to Apple email?

My last phone discussion with Godaddy resulted in: " we will contact you when the problem is fixed". I cannot use my apple email - and my web outlook through Godaddy keeps having problems - the most recent is that I cannot download attachments. Plus I have issues on my iPhone getting mail. I love my apple mail - any suggestions how to get Godaddy out of my life? btw I switched my domain already from them.
