Apple Pencil not reconnecting on iPad mini 6 after charging

So, this all started with my Apple Pencil not working on IBIS paint, nor out of the app. No problem, connection or charging issues. I charged it some, and checked it. Still didn’t work. Alright, so I went and disconnected my Apple Pencil, and waited for it to reconnect. It never did, no message, anything. I let it charge more, maybe it was still dead. Nope, still didn’t appear. I’m confused, any help? (Ipad mini 6, Apple Pencil gen 1 or 2, I charge it using a charger, but it doesn’t have the removable cap.)
