Calendar for french holidays no longer available.

A long long time ago, I had added the calendar for french holidays to the calendar app on my Macbook. I just noticed, that calendar no longer updates.

So I looked at the support pages (View the Holidays calendar on Mac - Apple Support). I see the following:

But when I look at the region menu, France does not appear:

Why is that ?

The current URL I have for french holidays is: https://calendars.icloud.com/holidays/fr_fr.ics but that one no longer refreshes.

Replying to myself.

The ics file now refreshes again: I deleted it and added it back. Also the reason it does not appear in the drop-down list of available calendars is because it was already on my list of calendars.
