MacBook Pro M4 with Sequoia 15.3.2 update fails to support 4 external displays

Hello dear community,

First a quick intro about the whole situation:

I'm really upset. I just bought a complete new trading setup for my home. For the 4 displays I bought 4x G8 OLED Monitors which costed me over 5,000$ together!

Then the guy in the Apple Store told me, that I have to buy the new M4 Max chip to get 4 displays as external devices (just want to note that I have spent 3k$ on my 2024 MacBook Pro with m3 pro chip). I had my old laptop only 3 months just to buy now a M4 Max for over 4500$, otherwise I wouldn't be able to use the 4 purchased displays. So I bought it.

Now to the issue:

after I configured my new MacBook m4 max, I started to connect one display after another. The connection is established like this:

  • Display 1: DP > USBC > Macbook
  • Display 2: DP > USBC > Macbook
  • Display 3: DP > USBC > CalDigit Thunderbolt 4 (apple product)
  • Display 4: DP > DP > CalDigit

Caldigit > Macbook through USBC.

At the first 2 weeks it worked with big issues. I close my laptop so I just use the 4 screens of course. When it goes into standby mode after I wasn't at the computer for 1h or so, I pressed a button on the keyboard to get it back on out of standby mode to use the MacBook. Sometimes all 4 screens appeared at the begin, sometimes (more often), only 2 or 3 screens turned on and I had to disconnect the non working screens with the power and with the cable (DP) and connect it again. After I repeated this process a few times suddenly one more display showed up, then the another.

It was really annoying, since the setup is total at 10k and there shouldn't be issues like that.

3 days ago, the MacBook told me that there's a new update available: Sequoia 15.3.2 - which I installed.

AFTER DOING THAT, nothing worked anymore. Only 3 screens showed up, one screen was always dead.

I tried EVERYTHING. I spent total 2 days now to try to fix the issue. I bought new cables, I reinstalled the MacOS, I tried to edit the .plist file for the windows displays... literally everything.

Then I asked chatgpt when this problem showed up in the communities for the first time. After confirming by my own research it turned out that even with 15.2. there was no such an issue public.

So I downloaded the IPSW-file from macOS Sequoia 15.2 (Build 24C101) and used my old MacBook to install it on the new one through "Apple Configurator".

It still doesn't work with 15.2.

I also did the NVRAM reset and deleted the .plist file from the Mac and rebooted. I really really tried everything but I can't get the 4. display to work anymore. I don't know why.

If there is ANYONE who can resolve my issue, im willing to give something through usdt or something as a reward. My job is related to this issue, if I don't fix it soon I have to buy a windows computer and connect this one with the 4 screens and then I lost 5k $ because I bought the new MacBook Pro m4 max which will become then useless to me......

PLEASE help me !!!!!!

best regards, sonisahri
