External mic wouldn't work only on call

I'm using Iphone 14 Pro and Sophyee external mic with lightening adapter. IOS version is 18.3.2. External mic works on voice memo and recording videos but it wouldn't work only on phone calls. I tried deleting all adapters on Sound & Haptics > Headphone safety, but still no luck. Anyone with the fix?

Ulanzi J12 mic not working with iPhone 14 Pro Hello, I have recently noticed that the Ulanzi j12 microphone has stopped working with my IPhone 14 Pro. The problem is that when the mic receiver is connected to the Lightning connector and the microphone is paired, the sound is constantly being picked up by the iPhone microphone instead of the Ulanzi. Previously there was no such problem and, in addition, I checked on an older model IPhone 13 and there the external microphone worked fine. So it comes out that it is not a problem with the Ulanzi microphone but with the IPhone. Are there any settings that may have blocked the external microphone from working? External Microphones not connecting to new Iphone 15 Pro Max Attaching external mics (by USB-C) to IP 15 ProMax and not seeing the mics recognized in any of the camera apps. Have looked into permissions on the Apps I am using but still no luck. I have tried multiple mics. Any setting I am not finding? TY!

Microphone not working when plugged to AUX on iPhone 16 Pro If you are still having this issue I believe the problem is the dongle that you use. If the USB C to 3mm dongle supports both audio and microphone, ie for use with headphones that have an integral microphone that allows you to take call, then it won't work for use in a car aux in situation. This type of dongle disables the microphone on the phone. You need to use an audio-only dongle. Then, when plugged into the aux of the car the phone mic is still active and will allow voice on the call to go thru.
