Get trash folder on your desktop.

Anyone wanted to know. How to get the trash folder on the desktop AND you might not have the chance to change the logo so if you wanted to change the logo then I suggest you look on somewhere else


1, Open Terminal

2, Copy and paste this command

ln -s ~/.Trash ~/Desktop/Trash

3, This must look like this:

then press enter


4, The item on your desktop must look like this

Is this a pressing issue that some how I missed?


between the trashcan in the Dock, and trash in the Finder sidebar— I don't get it(?)




click open the trash icon in the Dock—

Now use the keyboard short cut Control Command T to add it to your Sidebar
