To have emails synced from multiple devices then they will have to be setup as IMAP email and not POP on both devices. I suspect your Mac has the email set up as POP. A POP email account will download the emails to each device where they are managed independently and an IMAP account just views the emails from the mail providers server so when deleting from one device they they will no longer be viewable on the other device.
To see the type of email account being used on your Mac, go to the Mail app and choose Mail > Settings > Accounts. The type of account is visible in the sidebar of the Comcast email account. If you are seeing POP, then you will need to add the email account as an IMAP account, which should be the default, but I can assist if you are having trouble doing that.
