Do AirPods fit in ears of all ages?

AirPods fit differently for everyone since ear shapes vary. If you’re concerned about fit, you might want to try them at an Apple Store or a retailer before buying.

AirPods (2nd and 3rd gen) and AirPods Pro have different designs:

• AirPods (2nd gen): Hard plastic, one-size-fits-all. If Apple’s wired EarPods fit you, these likely will too.

• AirPods (3rd gen): A bit larger and contoured for a better fit but still without silicone tips.

• AirPods Pro: Have silicone ear tips in different sizes for a customizable fit, making them better for staying in place and noise cancellation.

If you’re worried about them slipping out, AirPods Pro might be the safer choice. Do you usually have trouble with earbuds staying in?

Since everyone's ears are different, we cannot say for sure if AirPods will fit in your ears. I would guess that the AirPod Pros would likely fit since they come with four sets of silicone tips to fit a range of sizes from x-small to large.

No, they don't fit everyone's ears. Even with the range of tips, AirPod Pros fall out of my ears unless I add ear loops. I've had much better luck with third-party foam tips. They are both comfortable and don't fall out.
