Keyboard and Mouse Freezing While Using 'Link to Mac or iPad'

I am using two Macs simultaneously and have enabled the Link to Mac or iPad feature. However, while using this feature, my keyboard and mouse frequently freeze for a few minutes. This issue occurs repeatedly and makes it difficult to use both devices seamlessly.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Enable Link to Mac or iPad on both MacBooks.
  2. Use the keyboard and mouse to control the second Mac.
  3. After some time, both the keyboard and mouse become unresponsive.
  4. Disconnecting the keyboard immediately resolves the issue.

Expected Behavior:

The keyboard and mouse should function smoothly without freezing while using the Link to Mac or iPad feature.

Actual Behavior:

  • The keyboard and mouse freeze randomly for a few minutes.
  • Disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard temporarily fixes the issue.
  • The issue only happens when Link to Mac or iPad is enabled.
  • When using the keyboard with a single Mac (without the link feature), it works fine.
  • I tried using a different keyboard, but the issue persists.

System Information:

  • MacBook Model 1: M1 Pro 14" with macOS 15.1.1
  • MacMini Model 2: M4 with macOS 15.3.2
  • Keyboard Model: Magic Keyboard 2 / Keychron K10 Pro
  • Mouse Model: Logitech MX Master 2S

Is anyone else facing this issue? If so, do you know how to fix it? Any suggestions would be appreciated!
