I have a brand new MacBook Air (2025) and the globe key on the bottom left opens Mission Control. I have tried resetting all keyboard shortcuts, resetting Mission Control settings, and also remapping the key for language change. It will change the language but no matter what I do, it always launches Mission Control. How do I fix this so I can use the globe key for intended purpose!

Can you try an external keyboard and see if it has the same problem?
Is that the only key that does something wrong?
What do you have in your settings for the Globe key itself in system settings > keyboard?
Globe and Fn are the same key. What happens if you set it to do nothing or to show emoji?
It is the only key that does something wrong, yes. It was set that way on my previous MacBook Pro, but that MacBook did not have the Globe Key, it was only function key. The setting is set to “start dictation (press twice)” which it does not do
Yes, they are the same key now, but 2013 MacBook Pro did not have globe icon and was not used the same way. If I set it to show emoji or change language, it will perform these actions, but will also open Mission Control at the same time.
My external keyboard does not have the globe key or fn key at all :(
