Frozen Screen When Viewing "Recents" in Phone App
For the last several months, my Phone app screen has been freezing when I try to view "Recents", which is the default screen when I launch the Phone app. The touch screen won't work for several seconds at first, especially right after launching the app. It only happens when I'm using the phone to check "Recents". It doesn't happen with other apps. I was at the end of my contract cycle with Verizon anyway, so I upgraded from iPhone 13 to 16. But the problem is still there with the 16. I've done the usual--close out app, reboot phone, ensure iOS is 18.3.2. Even deleted a bunch of recent calls and cleared my deleted voicemails. I do use this phone for work, so I have a good number of contacts, but this has always been the case. Thanks for any receommendations.
