Apple Watch Workout App not working (SOLVED)

Not a question, as I just solved it, but the previous thread was locked and I wanted to make a post about it in case anyone else is having the same problem.

This is the previous thread where the solution was to send yourself an app store link and open it on the watch:

My problem:

I just updated my AW Ultra 2 and noticed that the workout app was missing. When I clicked the action button it momentarily showed the orange screen and said "workout" and then went away. The app icon for workout didn't show up on the watch or in the watch app on iphone.

What didn't work:

Sending the app store link to myself. Unpairing and re-pairing (It may have contributed, but this alone didn't fix it). Unpair and re-pair with a factory reset.

What did work:

After a couple unpairs and re-pairs, I noticed that siri was also not working on my watch. It must have been disabled when I updated my phone or watch. When I enabled it, everything went back to working fine. I'm not sure if the unpair, re-pair helped at all.
