Why is my Apple Music library defaulting to shuffle?

How to choose PLAY as default instead of SHUFFLE? I have about 500 songs in my Apple library. I sort by Artist. When I select a song to play, the library normally continues to play through the artist's songs in sequence. But all of the sudden the library started shuffling the whole library songs as a default. How do I make PLAY as default?

Music app shuffle switches from playlist to library I’ve had an odd issue with Apple’s Music App. Has anyone noticed that, say you want to hit shuffle on your favorite playlist, so, you pick the list, hit shuffle and all I’d good for the first three or so songs. Then, once it plays a song which is both on your favorite playlist AND in your general library of songs, your favorite playlist isn’t playing, but instead the shuffle feature is now going through your general library. I’m certain it’s something I’m doing 😊 Anyone?

Shuffle not working as intended When I use https://music.apple.com Select Library -> Songs, click on a song and then press shuffle. If I select a song starting with letter A it will only shuffle songs between songs starting with the letter A and B. Likewise if I select a song starting with the letter D, it will only shuffle songs between the letters D-E. Shuffle works but only selects a small sample of songs out of my whole library, I want to be able to shuffle all songs. Only had this problem on the website https://music.apple.com not on macOS or phone & ipad Would love to see this fixed

Why does Apple Music randomly Shuffle when shuffle option is not selected? Only certain songs are playing. Otherwise it’ll start one song and skip through that song and the entire album. Or it only plays one song from one album over and over (not on shuffle I checked). how to fix? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
