received live photos but the live itself comes out glitchy

My friend sent me the photos she took of me on her phone which are live photos. When I save it on messages, in my photos app, i hold down to see the whole live photo but the quality is blurry/glitchy and not the same quality on my friends phone. i have my phone on keep original downloads but it still won’t let me get the same quality as her. I just want the same quality as her so i can change the key photo and still have it be clear.
