Why can't I redownload previously downloaded Apple Music tracks?

Some of my music that I had already downloaded says that “this item is not currently available in your country or region” but when I go to actually search it I can play it but it’s not letting me redownload it and or listen to it if I were to have it on a playlist.

Region-locked music on Apple Music in the US Recently switched to Apple Music :-( Didn't know what I got myself into! Grown very used to the classic iTunes interface, functional and polished. Strongly suspect that all the negativity on it recently was a stealth PR campaign. Main issue for me is half my music is region-locked! Even in albums by the same artist, half the tracks aren't playing. 'This Item is not available in your Country or Region'. In other albums some tracks are not even visible! I see it by comparing the collection in my old phone to the new one. Tracks go 1,4,7,8,11. how can they not even show region-locked content!? I see lots of advice for how to change you region, but NONE on how to determine the correct one for a particular track, so it's pointless. I definitely see why the universal fix for everyone (first words always said) is: 'get the latest version', 'download the update'. Apple Music is a subscription ($-stream) service now. They've obviously spent years designing our shiny new CAGE. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Music becoming unavailable suddenly. After this recent software update 17.1.1, a few of the music I save in my music playlist have been “unavailable in your country/region”. But I can listen to it when it’s not saved in my playlist. And it’s a certain artist to the point that all of their songs I added to my playlist aren’t available. Is it something to do with business or is there some sort of error. I want my music back 😢
