"scutil --nc" VPN commands stopped working

For several years, I've been using the `scutil` command line utility to see the status of my VPN service and connect or disconnect it. I used commands like…

scutil --nc status "VPN_name" # see the status of the service

scutil --nc start "VPN_name" # connect the service

scutil --nc stop "VPN_name" # disconnect the service

However, recently those commands stopped working and only give the response `No service`.

I learned of the `list` command to see which VPN services I have available. That also responds with `No service`.

My computer has all the latest updates installed for macOS 15.3.2 (24D81). I have the same 3 VPN services configured in system settings that I've had for several years. As far as I know, nothing else has changed as far as networking goes. I've installed apps and updates, but nothing about VPN.

Does anybody have advice about how to get `scutil` working again?

I would verify with that "employer" by how ever the mac is managed(?)...your ability to use the Terminal "scutil"

It was not included, so I added it. However, that didn't make any difference.
