How to prevent spam messages on Apple Watch that don't appear on iPhone?

Watch gets messages (SPAM) but iPhone does not. My Apple Watch works with Text Messages and iMessages. it is NOT a Data Watch. Lately, i have received SPAM messages on my Apple Watch that do NOT appear on my iPhone. 1) Hiw is this possible? and 2) How can I turn this off

I have my Apple Watch set to mirror my iPhone, with respect to the message app. However, my Apple Watch still pushes every text through with a notification, even the junk/spam. phishing messages on Apple Watch only I have silence, unknown callers turned on my phone however, I will occasionally get a text message on my watch that does not show up on my phone. That text message is always some type of spam. I'm not sure what I can do about this.

SPAM Texts on Watch Not Phone Starting today, I noticed I had unread texts on my watch but none on my phone. Looking on my watch, there have been three today (today is the first day this has occurred after having the watch for over a year). Each came from an email address and had the same message about someone hiring but all three came from different email addresses, typically ending in the Russian suffix. I look on my phone and these same messages don't appear. I am being notified on watch and phone about all other texts throughout the day but these sort of slipped in on the watch with no notification besides me seeing the notification.
