I have a standard list of categories in Numbers. They are in Header rows and columns. See first screen shot.
But when I try and copy them to another (but I think it's the same format) I get scrabbled stuff.
What am I doing wrong? I tried copying the format then the actual cells. That didn't help.

Not exactly sure from your post on what exactly you’re trying to do. If you want to just copy the same format as indicated in your top screenshot to a second spreadsheet, then before you open the spreadsheet, you should be able to click on the file and choose “Duplicate”. That should keep the same formatting.
I figured it out. My column widths were not consistent.
