Widgets are empty after updating to iOS 18

hello everyone! I've been facing this problem for a long time, to be more precise, as soon as I updated to iOS 18. I want to choose a color for the icons (so that both the icons and the wallpaper are white), but I'm facing the problem that some widgets that used to display correctly with text are now empty, I would like to get help with this problem. Thank you in advance

Here are a few troubleshooting steps:

  • Restart your iPhone:
  • A simple restart can resolve many temporary glitches.
  • Check for software updates:
  • Ensure you're running the latest version of iOS 18, as Apple may have released fixes for known issues.
  • Update your apps:
  • Outdated apps might not be compatible with the new widgets, so update all your apps in the App Store.
  • Check Background App Refresh:
  • Ensure Background App Refresh is enabled for apps that display dynamic widgets, as they may need to refresh in the background to display the most up-to-date information.
  • Verify internet connection:
  • If your widgets require an internet connection, ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection.
  • Check Hidden folder in App Library:
  • If you have hidden apps, they might be moved to the Hidden folder. Swipe left past all your Home Screen pages to get to the App Library and check the Hidden folder.
  • Reinstall or Restore apps:
  • If you can't find an app, try redownloading it from the App Store or restoring from a backup.
  • Consider contacting Apple:
  • If the issue persists, contact Apple Support for further assistance.
