Multiple App Store emails about a developer response to a review

As of when I write this, I have gotten 11 emails about a developer response to a review I left. The response was left prior to their latest update (or immediately after it, hard to say), as, obviously, was my original response. I don't see any reason why I should be notified that a developer left a response to a review more than once. Is there something I am missing on how I can stop this? The app itself is fine, but I got multiple prompts for a review in a short period of time (3+ in a few hours) and was annoyed at it. Any thoughts or suggestions here on how to get off this response-bomb I am getting from presumably Apple?
