Attention Aware features not working when iPhone is locked

attention aware features is not working when my phone is locked, but they are working fine when my phone is unlocked.

So basically, when I get a call, my phone is still locked, and that’s why it’s not lowering down the volume of phone call. I am currently running on iOS 18.4 on my iPhone 16 Pro

call takes up entire screen when iPhone is locked. Is there a way so when my phone locks my call doesn't take up the entire screen? every time I pick up my phone during a call, I end up hitting the end call button as it's right next to the home button, it's quite annoying and very inconvenient. Missed calls not showing up on lock screen Missed phone calls never show up on my lock screen, even though I have notifcations turned on; display as a list; show previews always; for phone i have allow notifications, alerts on lock screen/notification center/banners, banner style persistent, and show previews as always. They only show up when i scroll through the notification summary. Using iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.1.1, although this issue has been happening for years even on my old iPhone 12.

Try toggling these Off and then after a second or two toggle it on.
