Freeform background turns darker over time

When I have one Freeform board open for a longer period (read: multiple days), the board's white/-isch background seems to turn darker (read: grey), as if it responds to lighting conditions (which it doesn't).

After closing the board and switching back to it makes it turn white again. Does anyone have the same issue? Is it a but or a feature? In case of the latter, how do I change its settings?

I'm having this issue, too. For me, it's not the background that turns gray. It's a transparent overlay, like a modal window, but there's no dialog box. It's still usable, but the reduced contrast will eventually cause eye strain. Also, in my case, it happens a lot faster — more like if I do something else that keeps Freeform in the background for a few minutes, it will be medium-gray when I come back to it.
