Yes, you have to wait until the subscription ends before you can remove the card. You can see that here in the Apple Support article.

The alternative is to contact Apple directly using the link I provided to have the subscription stopped before the expiration date.

The subscription is still valid even though you have cancelled it so it will not renew. To cancel the use of the subscription immediately you will need to contact Apple directly.

You should also be aware the a valid credit card may still need to be on file to download apps, even though it will not be charged if you have funds in your Apple Account.

The region of the payment method must match the region of the device. This is how Apple determines you are using the correct App Store for your region. In the past, some people would fraudulently change the region on their device to download app and use services that would normally not be available to them in their region and this is one way to prevent that from happening.

Hello botirzhon, to remove payment method go to Settings>Apple account>payment & shipping>press your current payment method>Remove payment method

To redeem a gift card go to App Store>On the Top right click on your profile>Redeem Gift Card or Code>Enter your code or gift card

No since you won’t be charged again you don’t need to keep your bank card saved on your Apple ID.

You can remove your payment method now but again check it and make sure you have cancelled it, before removing your payment method!
