How can I recover non-iCloud mailboxes and emails after a computer crash?
My computer crashed last year and everything transferred except my mailboxes and emails. The emails are not iCloud.

Are you saying your using 3rd party mail account ie gmail/yahoo etc, if so sign back into said account to recover your emials.

Not what through server means.
So if my pc crashes and I get a new one, I can sign back into my gmail/yahoo/outlook account and get all of my emails back, since it reside on their server and not my hard drive.

Thanks for your reply. That doesn't work. I can't even find anything on my backup drive except for the early 2000's.
So you're using icloud mail and not a 3rd party like gmail or yahoo, is what you're saying?
Unfortunately, it erases emails after a certain period.(emailsrvr) And I need 2018-2020. It was a mess when my computer crashed. They had to send it back 3 times. I was told it I backed up my computer externally that my mail and mailboxes would be there. They are not. So all I have are more recent email. I'm thinking it may be a lost cause which is unfortunate and a problem for me as I now need some of those emails. But, thanks for helping.
