AirPods case has orange light but charge isn’t increasing.

Hi,

Recently whenever I go to use my AirPods, I open the case my phone displays the AirPods as charging at 100% and the case at 6% with no lightning bolt for charging. I’ve plugged the case into my mac to charge and the light went orange, yet after 45 minutes it was still on 6% despite still showing the orange light as if they hadn’t charged at all. Is there anything I can do about this? Is it a system glitch and it’s not actually on 6%? One thing that I’ve noticed when I use the AirPods is that the right AirPod dies when the left is on like 50% - does that have something to do with it?
