Magic Trackpad Gestures Not Working 2018 MBP intel

I was recently gifted the new Magic Trackpad and am unable to scroll or get any of the multi-touch gestures (swipe left between desktops, notification center, mission control, etc) to work. I can only move the cursor. I currently use a 2018 15in MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i9 Chip and have the most recent macOS Sequoia 15.0 software enabled. Does anyone know if the new Magic Trackpad is supported with this setup?
