Serial port no showing in the /dev

Hello! I want to connect a Ross-Tech interface to CrossOver. However, macOS does not support that interface, so I want to connect it directly via a COM port. The problem is that the device does not appear in /dev when I connect it. However, it does show up in system_profiler SPUSBDataType

Ross-Tech HEX-USB:

              Product ID: 0xfa24
Vendor ID: 0x0403  (Future Technology Devices International Limited)
              Version: 6.00
              Speed: Up to 12 Mb/s
              Manufacturer: Ross-Tech
              Location ID: 0x01140000 / 3
              Current Available (mA): 500
              Current Required (mA): 50
              Extra Operating Current (mA): 0

What can I do?

One reason may be that "com ports" do not exist on Macs.

Did you check with the developer to determine how to use that device? System Information is reporting the hardware is present on the Mac's USB device tree, which is no more than a good start. To actually use it, including adding it to /dev will require some kind of software interface. Presumably that's what the "CrossOver" product is intended to do, but I am not familiar with it.
