Magic Keyboard compatibility with new iPad Air??

I have a 3rd generation iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard I bought 2 years ago. If I buy a new iPad Air, will my existing Magic Keyboard work?

A Magic Keyboard for mine is $400. A third of the cost for the iPad. I found a few that have good ratings for around $100. With lite keyboard. Check online and I bet you could find a good one for less the cost.
