Force iPad to load full Gmail site

Open gmail. Look for the third button from the top left of the screen - next to the two arrow buttons. It looks like a blank screen with some writing on the left of it. Click on this. That will get rid of the side bar and gmail will be in full screen as it will the next time you open it. Hope that works!

Things have changed with iPads in 7years, with mobile versus desktop website issues.
Did you really feel a strong need to reply to a 7 year old posting?
